An Authentic Community of Support

Families who care for children with complex medical needs are especially vulnerable during these uncertain times. To help ease the sense of isolation and stress camper parents and caregivers are facing, we’re offering ongoing special content and supportive resources.

Delivered in new ways, these initiatives are intended to offer hope, improved well-being and meaningful connections with other parents and caregivers on a similar journey.

Creating Generous Spaces for Connection

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen.” – Researcher & author, Brené Brown

Despite the transition from offering on-site to virtual programming due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our goals—supporting our camper families with high-quality, cost-free, inclusive programs—are as vital as ever. Whether in person or online, our experienced team offers children with serious illnesses and their siblings, parents and caregivers the chance to connect in respectful and caring spaces.

Spring Family Camp-At-Home Program

These virtual weekend programs bring together families caring for children with serious health challenges to share in community building and memory-making fun. Online registration is now open.

Summer Camp-At-Home Schedule

We continue to evolve our programs to meet the needs of our campers during the pandemic. See the 2021 alternative summer camp-at-home schedule and register today. Visit Apply to Summer Camp page.

Parent & Caregiver Support Groups

Led by a trained facilitator, these support groups meet every other week. Open to parents and caregivers of children with serious illnesses. See summer schedule details and register today.

Camper Meetups

Virtual meetups give our campers, who are between the ages of 7 to 17, a chance to connect with peers in small online gathering spaces. Camper meetups will pause during the late spring and summer (May through August) and resume in September. We encourage all campers to connect with peers by registering for an upcoming summer camp-at-home sessions. See camp schedule here

Special Live Events

A curated series of live family-friendly entertainment events for our camp friends. These free virtual events are also open to the public. Our winter season has concluded, and we will resume live event programming in the fall.

Camp Clubs

Hosted virtually on the last Saturday of each month, campers and families can enjoy popular camp activities and adventures. See schedule & register today.

A Healing Place

While we will be hosting our programs virtually this year, we will continue to offer intentional, community-building programs to our camper families, always free of charge. Listen to parents share their family camp experiences in the video below.
