Open Discussion Group
When: Tuesdays, 9:00–10:00 p.m. (EST), every other week, starting January 11
What: An open discussion group to address a range of topics that are most relevant to members. Drop-in visitors are welcome. Discussion topics may be proposed during summer meetings. All registered members will receive an email in advance with details about those specific topics.
Who: Facilitated by North Star Reach’s Mary Ann Fithian.

Mary Ann Fithian is mom and caregiver for Will and her chronically ill child Faith. She is a certified small group facilitator and is passionate about helping families get the resources they need to care for their chronically ill children.
Nicole Fitzpatrick is a certified Parent-to-Parent mentor through Michigan Department of Health and Human Services – Children’s Special Health Care Services (CSHCS) and an active volunteer with the Epilepsy Project within CSHCS. She is a mother to a blended family of five children. Her youngest child, now 16, was diagnosed with epilepsy when she was 7. Nicole first became familiar with North Star Reach when her daughter attended camp in 2018. Nicole has a passion for serving individuals and families dealing with chronic health diagnoses.
