January Family Game Night

Time: Friday, Jan. 28 (7-8 pm, EST)

Join us online for a Valentine’s Day-themed virtual game night. You’ll play with (and against) other families and North Star Reach staff and volunteers. It’s sure to be an evening of memory-making fun!

Although this free, virtual event is designed for North Star Reach campers and families who have previously attended one of our in-person or virtual programs, we welcome new families caring for a child with a serious illness.

Check out all the fun we have planned for Under the North Star, a community celebration and signature fundraising event on May 21, from 5-10 pm (EST) at our beautiful 105-acre campus in Pinckney. The special evening features dinner from a renowned chef, a live auction, music by the popular Detroit band @fiftyampfuse and amazing camper stories. Guests can enjoy unique camp-style experiences, including pontoon boat rides (with opportunities to fish), the chance to build a custom charcuterie board, create craft cocktails (sponsored by Woodson Whiskey), participate in yoga under the stars, and much more.

With a livestream experience available, guests can also connect to the evening program (8-9 pm, EST) and participate in the live auction from anywhere. Among the featured auction items is a five-game luxury suite package for NFL, NBA, NHL, University of Michigan Football, and University of Michigan Men’s Basketball games. All proceeds benefit life-changing, no-cost camps and programs for children with serious illnesses and their families.

CALLING ALL LIFEGUARDS: Every summer we ask North Star Reach campers what their favorite activity of the week was and unanimously the answer is "THE POOL!" It wouldn't be summer camp without swim tests, pool noodles, sunscreen, and lifeguards to help keep everyone safe!

This summer we have multiple paid positions available for those who are interested in being a lifeguard at North Star Reach! These positions are available to anyone ages 17+ with day shift availability! Lifeguard, CPR, and First Aid Certification will be provided. To apply, simply visit the link in our bio.
